Position: Information Technology Specialist
The Ministry of Health is announcing a vacancy of the Information Technology Specialist for the E-Health Project financed by the World Bank International Development Association and implemented by the Ministry of Health.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of this position is to create an electronic health information system with a health information exchange platform within the framework of the project strategic objective and shall have the following objectives:
1. Provide support in development and implementation of the health sector enterprise architecture and interoperability framework,
2. Provide support in development and implementation of the health information exchange platform,
3. Provide support in development and implementation of the picture archiving and communication system,
4. Provide technical and methodological advice on the development of the technical specifications of information technology equipment to be purchased and installed under the project,
5. Cooperate with the project team, consultants and related staff of the project implementing organization to provide methodological advice and participate in other project activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Have an education degree in computer hardware, software or information technology, advanced degree will be an advantage,
At least 5 years of experience of working in management information system field,
Have experience of implementing international projects,
Have knowledge of health information systems,
Have knowledge of international health information standards such as HL7, DICOM, LOINC, ICD-10,
Extensive knowledge of managing information technology projects, developing technological plans, ensuring implementation and project management,
Have analytical skills and ability to develop documents,
Have advanced level of English language (supported by certificates and other documents)
