"Basic computer user training" in Uvs province

The E-health project financed by the World Bank has successfully organized the “Basic computer user training” on October 29-31, 2019 in Ulaangom, Uvs province. Main purpose of this training is to improve capacity of the doctors and nurses of the primary health care institutions in computer usage and create an opportunity to refresh previously acquired knowledge.
A total of 44 health professionals, including one physician and one nurse from 4 family health centers, 15 soum health centers, and 3 inter-soum hospitals, have participated in this training. Practical exercises was basic methodology of this training and the participants praised its usefulness and effectiveness.
The teaching methodology of the trainers who were previously trained and the training progress demonstrated that trainers ensured to prepare well to organize this training. Previously trained information technology specialists taught the internet usage and computer applications while trained statisticians from the health department and central hospitals of the province taught office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
As a concluding remark, the trainers and the participants recommended organizing this computer training on regular basis to all primary healthcare specialists as well as advanced level computer user trainings.
